To keep David’s deeply researched and humorous challenging of myths alive after his untimely death; To counter the public debates initiated by the Right that, for fifty years, have dominated most public theatrical spaces—the newspapers, the televisions—and thus, the most accessible to the masses. The left lost the space for dialogue and art. We have to gain it back!; To counteract the fake concept of identity politics and the cancel culture; and To remain cheerful and artistic in the face of all odds, contradictions, and misunderstandings. David asserted that human consciousness only exists in dialogue with others, and the myth of the individual “thinker-philosopher” is nothing but a myth.
Here will be the Socratic debate of our times.
David himself was often subjected to public attacks and withstood them with fortitude.
Our fights will be between real people, imaginary people, or real people played by actors.
One real fight will be the forthcoming debate between Michael Hudson versus Thomas Piketty. https://museum.care/room/fighting-club/
