It’s a valuable event taking place on March 18 in Bologna, “Victimized Journalists in Eritrea, Worldwide and Freedom of the Press.” Starting from the repression of freedom in Eritrea that began in 2001, we will delve into the global situation and examine how, day by day, freedom of the press is being eroded, piece by piece.
I will be joined by Siid Negash, City Councillor; Emily Clancy, Deputy Mayor of Bologna; Vittorio Longhi, from Associazione Carta di Roma and Articolo Ventuno; Franca Menneas from Amnesty International – Italy; Luwam Nebrahtu Gebrehiwet from One day Siyum; and Abraham Tesfai, Eritrean activist.
