For Palestine: images against genocide

This page is available in English (UK) , Italian

The exhibition, organized by Bologna for Palestine with the support of ANPI Bologna, CGIL Bologna, and CGIL Emilia-Romagna, presents a program structured into three collective shows plus a personal contribution by Gianluca Costantini. Its aim is to prompt reflection on the ongoing genocide in Gaza and its historical roots, through works by Palestinian and international artists and photographers.

Promoted by the Bologna for Palestine coordination—established in February 2024 and comprising over forty associations committed to opposing ethnic cleansing, occupation, apartheid, and genocide (the “Nakba” that began in 1947 and continues to this day)—the initiative highlights both contemporary violence and the cultural and human fabric of the Palestinian people.

Gaza Fuorifuoco, curator of the Kufia and Qui resteremo exhibitions, has created a permanent photographic archive and supports Palestinian photographers who document Israeli atrocities in Gaza and the West Bank, as well as the strength and resilience of Palestinian society.
