An artistic and spiritual gathering that transforms San Paolo entro le Mura into a place of remembrance, compassion, and courageous truth-telling

Art, Prayer, and Music for Palestine at St. Paul’s Within the Walls
Rome, 30 November 2025 – from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
St. Paul’s Within the Walls, Via Nazionale 16/A, Rome
The Episcopal Church community of St. Paul’s Within the Walls in Rome is pleased to invite the public to the closing service of the exhibition Christ Died in Gaza, which will take place on Sunday, 30 November, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Coinciding with the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People (29 November), the event will bring together prayer, poetry, and music in a moment of reflection on human suffering as depicted in the poignant series of drawings by Italian artist Gianluca Costantini, who will be present and share a few words about his work.

Throughout the month of November, Christ Died in Gaza has been displayed in the central nave of St. Paul’s Within the Walls, offering visitors the chance to meditate on the ongoing tragedy in Gaza through powerful and deeply evocative images that also serve as a meditation on the Passion.
The closing service will feature performances by singer Marwa Ahmed and guitarist Giulio Bodini, creating an interplay of sounds and images dedicated to memory and solidarity.
At the end of the gathering, the artist’s original drawings will be available for purchase.
All proceeds will be donated to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), which provides urgent medical aid, emergency response, and humanitarian assistance to the civilian population of Gaza and Palestine.
St. Paul’s Within the Walls has long stood as a space of dialogue, reflection, and solidarity, welcoming artists, activists, and people of all faiths who share the Gospel message of radical love and a common commitment to truth and justice.
