Human rights activist of the “Elimay” movement Aliya Isenova received a serious hand injury on 6 January in the square during the gunfire attacks of the SOBR. Aliya was in the emergency unit of a hospital, where police officers guarded her ward and did not let her family in during the first surgery. Later it was reported that despite the urgent surgery, after its completion, she was handcuffed and taken to the temporary detention facility. The phone was seized – Aliya only managed to report the bullet wound. Aliya has weak health, an inoperable tumour in her head, high blood pressure of 220-240, frequent hypertensive crisis.
