Orders an abortion pill online, but the doctor reports it. Joanny Parniewskiej, a young Polish woman, tells la Repubblica about the horrendous abuses she suffered from the Krakow police for having terminated her pregnancy in the only way still legal in the country: with the abortion pill ordered online. It all began last April when, in a moment of fragility, Parnieska called the doctor and confided in him what had happened. From that moment “a nightmare begins”, he tells the newspaper. The doctor reports her to the police, effectively violating confidentiality. Then, the raid of Polish agents in her apartment: “They treated me like a criminal,” says the young woman.
