We appeal to anyone who can contribute and intervene to urge the release of Vivian Silver, a 74-year-old Canadian woman who disappeared and is presumed to have been kidnapped from her home in Kibbutz Be’eri when Hamas terrorists invaded the country on October 7. Vivian Silver has dedicated her life to the peace movement, establishing close ties with the moderate community in #Gaza and contributing significantly to the promotion of shared society between Jews and Arabs. Her disappearance is a tragedy and an act of violence that transcends geographical and cultural barriers. We call on the relevant authorities to do everything possible to locate Vivian Silver and ensure her safety. Her long history of pacifist activism and promotion of understanding among diverse communities attests to her commitment to peace and justice. We hope that the international community can join in the call for freedom for Vivian Silver, so that she can return home safe and sound. Her life dedicated to the cause of peace deserves respect and protection.
