We wanted the audience to experience a kind of emotional fatigue while watching the film.” – Kym Staton
I am pleased to invite you to a special event at C’entro – Supercinema Santarcangelo, on Thursday, October 28, starting at 9 PM, where I will be a guest to talk about rights and freedom of expression, topics that are very close to my heart. Together, we will watch the national premiere of The TRUST FALL: Julian Assange – Documentary, directed by Kym Staton, which tells the complete story of the founder of WikiLeaks.
This powerful film allows us to feel the emotional weight of a fight for truth and justice that cannot be ignored. The screening will be in the original language with Italian subtitles. After the film, I will join Giovanni Boccia Artieri in a discussion to explore Assange’s story, his courage, and the implications of his work for the freedom of information. I will also share my experience as the author of a graphic novel dedicated to this incredible story. Julian Assange is a symbol of our time, a man who sacrificed everything to defend everyone’s right to know the truth. On this evening, I hope to share with you the importance of not remaining indifferent and of supporting the campaign for his freedom.
